Abraham: "Every time I go out onto that pitch I just go out there to score goals."
Tammy Abraham spoke to Goal about his recent form for Bristol City in the Championship. Abraham now has 8 goals in 9 games, while scoring every 88 minutes in the League.
His goal scoring nature has attracted lots of attention, but the teenage remains calm.
"I have always been confident," he told Goal. "I knew I had one job to do when I first came to Bristol City, which was to score goals and help the team, which is what I have been doing. Scoring goals is nothing new for me, every time I go out onto that pitch I just go out there to score goals.
"Scoring comes naturally because every time I come off the pitch and I haven’t got a goal then I am not happy with my performance. A goal kind of determines how happy I am with my performance and if I have helped the team, so, yes, scoring goals is what I aim to do every time I step on the pitch."

Tammy Abraham spoke about how Bristol City manager earned his trust before joining the club.
"I decided to join when the manager came to my house," added Abraham. "We built a relationship from the beginning and he earned my parents' trust as well. As soon as I stepped into Bristol City, I felt like I was really welcomed very well and I felt that from the very beginning.
"He told me if I play my best and keep working then I will be starting, so that’s what I am trying to do and have been doing. I have moved up to Bristol now, I have had family come around to visit me and I live near two of my teammates which has been good for me.
"I am continuing to work on finishing [in training], any type of finishing, but one thing I am working on at the moment is my left foot finishing as well, trying to improve that as much as I can."
Tammy spoke about his recent sides defeat after leading by 2 goals, two goals which he scored.
"It was a good game and I managed to get two goals," he added. "But the result didn’t sum up how we performed in the first half, we took our foot off the gas. We should have just killed off the game and the next game we just need to go out there, all guns blazing, and hopefully get the result.
"Our aims should be pressing for promotion through the playoffs, hopefully I can score some amount of goals to help us achieve that. I'm learning, it is more physical [in the Championship], you are playing against players that are older than you and are stronger than you, so you have to adapt the way you play."
