Musonda: "I’m young and the main thing for me is to learn."
Charly Musonda spoke to the Spanish media ahead of his clubs clash with Jeremie Boga's Granada. Musonda hasn't started any of Real Betis 3 League games this season, but has said the most important thing for him is to learn.
Victory at Valencia: "It was an important game for us, we needed to win our first game. The team is very happy with the first victory of the season.”
What happened in the last minutes?
“With 0-2 in the score, the team relaxed a bit too much. Valencia is a very good team and it’s difficult to win in that stadium. They did well, tied the score and it was a bit more difficult, but Rubén Castro was outstanding. He’s a very special striker.”
Rubén Castro?
“Last year he was also impressive. He is crucial for this team. We are very happy that he’s with us.”
When are we going to see you in the starting eleven?
“The season is quite long. I’m happy to be here and to play in this great league with great players such as Joaquín or Rubén. I’m young and the main thing for me is to learn. When I have the chance to play I have to give my best for the team. If it’s just 20 minutes, so be it, if it’s more, better. I have to be ready for when the team needs me.”
Dani Ceballos?
“He’s a great player. As I said, the season is long. When the team and the manager need him, Dani has to be ready. He’s very good, but we need to stay calm at this point. We are working hard every day. The main thing is to work and be ready for when they need me.”
Is the team focused on the derby [against Sevilla] already?
“No, we have to play against Granada before. That’s the main worry. Let’s hope we can get a good result on Friday and then we can focus on the derby.”
