Jamal Blackman: "I would like to stay longer."
Jamal Blackman is on loan at Wycombe Wanderers until 3 January, but has expressed his will to stay longer with the League 2 side.
"I would like to stay longer and it is obviously up to the gaffer and my performances to decide if I can," said Blackman to Bucksfreepress.
"That [being first-choice keeper] is up to the manager, but I will do as much as I can to stay number one."
Jamal was signed to fill in for injured first choice keeper Brown, but his fine performances will cause a headache for Wycombe once Brown is back fit.
"My physical attributes are one of my biggest strengths. I am good in the air which helps when you come to a league where a lot of balls come in your box.
"The manager told me to bring my experience from being in the first team at Chelsea to the team.
"Coming to League Two is different to the Premier League, but football is football so you just have to go out there and show what you can do."
