Kiwomya: "I am very happy about the nomination, to me it is a massive thing."
Kiwomya spoke to his club about his delight on being nominated for August Player of The Month in League, but has set himself targets to win more.
“To be nominated means I am doing my job, that I have made an impact and people are noticing it. Teams are starting to double up on me so I have to add more to my game.
“I am very happy about the nomination, to me it is a massive thing. I want to win it and get a nomination next month, and the month after.”
Alex added : “I'm really enjoying it, I've settled in really well with the lads, I'm playing really well and getting minutes, getting goals and assists so I can't ask for much more.
“I knew it would be good but I didn't think I'd settle in this well and that I'd get on so good with the lads and that we'd support each other so much. It is always refreshing to come to a different club and find that everyone is together and wanting the same thing.
“It is a very high intensity to U21s and what I've played before so it is really good. I am working my way into it, coming up with goals and assists is an added bonus and what the gaffer has brought me here to do.”

Kiwomya's manager has also praised the youngsters impact on League 2.
"It's recognition for the club and for him as an individual, he deserves to be nominated – he has scored some great goals and he has made goals.
"The last two games haven't been quite up to the very high standards he has set, but overall in the games he has played we can't ask for any more.
"He has been a breath of fresh air in terms of what he does, a very attacking player and he is having a real go at the other side of the game too."
Davis added: "He is a lot fitter and has proved he can last the games, he has never played so many games before in his career but he has shown his level of fitness is now very good.
"He needs to keep working hard, remember why he has been nominated this month. If he can continue in that vein and have the same consistency he'll get nominated every month."
