Crewe boss: "I think Kiwomya is having his own goal of the season competition."
Alex Kiwomya has started life with Crewe in possibly the best way. 6 games, 3 goals, 3 assist and his boss is pleased with the Chelsea loanees impact.
Steve told the club’s official website: “I think Alex is having his own goal of the season competition and there are already a couple of real candidates.
“He has been terrific for us when he has been coming on as an impact sub. I wanted to see if he could have a similar impact when starting a game and he has surprised me because he is getting through a lot of work defensively as well.
“He is adjusting to the intensity of the league again and he won’t be fully there until he has played 7, 8, 9 games. We know he is an asset with his pace and his ability to score goals. He is still getting there physically but we can see that he has that unique ability to glide past players.
He added: “He has his tricks and we will with him to work on others when he comes up against an opponent.”
