Jamal Blackman impressed on his Wycombe Wanderers debut against Accrington and manager Ainsworth is playing his cards close to his card regarding the agreement between Chelsea and his club on Jamal's game time.
"The deal with Chelsea will stay private. Scott Brown was brought in as my number one but he's injured at the moment," said Wycombe manager Ainsworth.
"When Scott is back, we'll have some good competition, but Jamal is my number one at the moment as he's my only fit keeper. He had a great debut and he's going to be a great acquisition. The way he rolls it out at the right times, his kicking is fantastic, coming for crosses, his distribution was excellent."
"He's a very assured and calm individual, and he will add to us. You don't get to be number three at Chelsea without being a very good keeper."
