Juventus director: "It's a question that will be resolved in the next few days."
Juventus director Marotta has given last seasons loanee Juan Cuadrado a life line for this season. As reported last month, Juventus offered to pay 25m euros for Cuadrado over two years, but was meet with a price tag of 30m euros from Chelsea.
AC Milan overtook Inter and Juventus in their interest for the winger, but it now seems Juventus are the only club in the running after AC Milan no longer have a non-EU player slot for Cuadrado.
"A small opportunity has opened up again. We are keeping a close eye on the situation, with all due respect for Chelsea, who still own the player’s rights," Marotta told Sky Sports Italia. "Cuadrado is a player we like a lot. He has already had a positive experience at Juventus last season. Of course we would welcome Cuadrado for many reasons. He always behaved well here and the experience we had with him was extremely positive.
"It's a question that will be resolved in the next few days at the most. He's a Chelsea player for now, but if the English club are open to talks, well we will open dialogue. We'll have to see."
