Alex Davey back at Chelsea after unsuccessful trail with Sheffield United
Chelsea defender Alex Davey has returned to Cobham training ground after Sheffield United turned down the chance to sign him.
Davey was allowed to be a trailist at Sheffield United after permission from Chelsea was granted, but it seems the trail was unsuccessful as manager Chris Wilder confirmed Alex has returned to Chelsea.
"Alex is back with Chelsea," Chris Wilder said.
"He’s a good lad. We thank him for his time and also Chelsea for allowing him to come here and work with us."
Alex Davey has spent time on loan with Scunthorpe, Peterborough & Stabæk.
