Chelsea expect Andreas Christensen and Baba Rahman to return to Chelsea
Reports in England indicate that Chelsea expect defenders Andreas Christensen and Baba Rahman to return to Chelsea next season, after their loan spells are finished, to compete for a starting place.
BILD and other German papers are reporting that Andreas could be sold with a buy back clause and Baba has a redemption clause in his contract, if Schalke wish to exercise that option.
But the Evening Standard and Goal are quick to dismiss these reports.
Standard say that Antonio Conte rates the Ghana left-back, but feels he would develop quicker playing regularly for Schalke in the Bundesliga. While Denmark defender Andreas Christensen will not be sold to Borussia Monchengladbach. 'AC' has been earmarked for a squad place for the 2017-18 campaign.
