Cuadrado: "I am glad of being here. "
Juan Cuadrado is ready to stay and fight for his position at Chelsea next season, as The Blues head into pre-season in America.
New boss Conte expressed his will to keep Cuadrado at the Bridge last week, but rumours of a move away to either AC Milan, Inter or Juventus still persist.
"We all work on that purpose," he said when asked if he would be a Chelsea starter this year.
"I have to train well and be strong and let's see what God wants. I am glad of being here. It's important for us to have a good pre-season. We have been working well and looking for what the coach wants."
The Colombian is back after his commitments with his national side in the Copa America, where they came 3rd.
"We made a good Copa," Cuadrado added. "But sometimes things don't go as you expect. You have to keep working and stay confident. We can have success in the future."
