Crewe Alexandra boss: "Alex Kiwomya is very very quick and he will give us something different
Crewe Boss is happy he added Chelsea youngster Alex Kiwomya to his attacking options ahead of next season.
"Alex is very very quick and he will give us something different. That is why we wanted to bring him to the club. We have seen him for Chelsea’s Under-21s and I’ve seen him a few times when he was on loan at Fleetwood," Steve told Crewe's website.
Kiwomya made his Crewe debut in a pre-season friendly against Bolton.
"This is another opportunity for him and I am sure he will be an asset for us. He has a lot of pace and can get in behind. He has settled in really well and the lads have made him feel welcome. He seems to be enjoying it and he will be looking forward to playing and doing well for us.
"He has been out on loan before and played higher, so I am sure that dropping down to League Two will allow him to show what he can do. He knows what is required and I’m sure he will look to do well."
