Baba Rahman linked to Turkish Champions on loan
According to AMK, Turkish Champions Besiktas have made an enquiry for Ghanian international Baba Rahman on a one-year loan.
Along with being linked with Omeruo, Besiktas are rumoured to be targeting striker Loic Remy and now Baba Rahman. But they have competition from Serie A in the form of Lazio, who have reported put in a bid for the left back.
This seems like an ambitious reach by Besiktas. I do not believe they can secure Omeruo, Baba and Remy in one summer transfer window. Italian side Napoli and German giants Borrusia Dortmund were also said to be keen on a loan deal for Baba Rahman. The links do spell trouble for young Baba who has had a difficult first year at the Bridge.
Joining in a season where Mourinho led Chelsea to their worst ever finish under owner Roman, Baba had to fight for his position with César Azpilicueta. A right back Jose loved to play at left back. What will be of Baba, time will tell.
