Cuadrado might leave Chelsea after all
According to DiMarzio, an Italian based football reporter, Cuadrado might just leave Chelsea after all.
They report that 'Chelsea are now open to the idea of selling him because of his will to leave' and that 'Juventus and Inter are interested in the player'.
Juan Cuadrado saved his career when he joined Juventus on loan last season. Winning the League and Cup double, assisting the winner in the Cup final. Juventus have tabled an offer of €24m over two years, but Chelsea are looking for €30m.
Inter Milan are interested in Cuadrado, if their first choice target Candreva fails. While AC Milan are very much interested, because their coach used to manage Cuadrado.
Chelsea seem to have a policy of allowing players to leave the club if they insist. KdB, Schurrle and Ramires are just a few examples over recent years. Conte has insisted that Cuadrado will stay and that he was interested in the player while he coached Juventus.
He also praises the way Chelsea have worked well with him to go about their business in this summer transfer market. However, if Chelsea do allow Cuadrado to leave because he wants to, this could strain the relationship Conte has with Chelsea.
This is why the report from DiMarzio doesn't seem strong enough. However, we will still be following any developments as they happen and report them asap.
