Birmingham City manager gives striker hunt update, mentions Patrick Bamford
Birmingham City manager gave an update to the media regarding his clubs hunt for a new striker for their upcoming season in the Championship.
Birmingham manager Gary Rowett has promised ‘absolutely 100 per cent’ Blues will bring in a new striker and he has mentioned Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford.
"I have heard a lot of names floating around, Matej Vydra, Patrick Bamford, people don’t quite understand the economics around some of those deals."
Patrick Bamford was not taken by Conte as part of his squad to Austria for pre-season, so it is highly likely he will go out on loan. With Aston Villa leading the chase to capture Bamford on loan, Birmingham is a new name to enter the race.
