Alex Kiwomya joins Crewe Alexandra on loan
Alex Kiwomya has today [Wednesday] joined Crewe Alexandra on loan until January 9th 2017.
Kiwomya has won the Under-21 Premier League, UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup during his time at Chelsea youth team and penned a 1-year deal with Chelsea in the summer.
Kiwomya is a winger and this will be his third time out on loan, previously with Barnsley & Fleetwood Town.
"This is a great opportunity for me," said Alex.
"They play a lot of good football here so I'm looking forward to playing and getting to meet everyone.
"There's always pressure. You always have to show your ability and what you're about and that's what I want to do here, score some goals and get some minutes.
"The whole reason for going out on loan is to try and shine and do the best you can and perform for the Club, obviously that's what I'm here to do.
"My previous loans [at Barnsley & Fleetwood] were really good experiences, but it was difficult situations at both Clubs and they didn't go as well as planned being only short term. Hopefully having a longer period here to adjust and get used to the team should benefit me.
"I just want to get my feet down, get settled, perform day-in day-out and see what happens."
