Monchengladbach: "Our big dream is that we can keep Andreas Christensen."
Another month, another chance for Monchengladbach's Director of Football Max Eberl to go to the press and discuss buying a player that isn't his.
In an interview to WAX, Max Eberl was asked about his future with the club and also his clubs chances for the 2016/17 season.
The interviewer proceeded to ask about the money involved in the Champions League, which Gladbach will be apart of if they can get past qualification rounds, and Eberl decided to respond to the question by talking about Chelsea loanee Andreas Christensen.
"Yes, the team is complete. If everything goes normal, we will go with the squad in the season. Our big dream is that we can keep Andreas Christensen. We will do everything in our power. He had a wonderful year." said Eberl.
Christensen has had a fantastic year on loan and next season will be the final year of the 2-year loan deal with Gladbach. Chelsea have expressed their desire to have Christensen replace John Terry and will not be selling their best academy player since, well, John Terry. Or perhaps Kakuta.
But this has not stopped Max Eberl discussing a potential transfer of 'AC'. He has spoken to the media about Christensen nearly every time and it's now starting to get disrespectful.
