Reading looking to sign John Swift
Championship side Reading are looking to sign John Swift after his contract at Chelsea expired, according to GetReading.
John Swift spent last season on loan to Brentford, where he scored 7 goals in 28 appearances. His contract came to an end, but Chelsea have offered him a new contract. It is not clear whether he has accepted that contract, but Championship clubs are looking to take advantage of free agent Swift.
GetReading report that Reading are working on a deal to sign the midfielder, while several other Championship clubs are interested. But it is Reading who are leading the race.
