Nathan Ake: "I think Conte wants to see me play a season there [midfield] in the Premier League
Loanee Nathan Ake spoke to BBC about the expectations of his parent club and how he's looking forward to improving his weaknesses.
BBC report that new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte had discussions about Ake's future and recommended he plays in the midfield.
"To get an eye on how I cope, I think he wants to see me play a season there in the Premier League," Ake said.
"The manager has been in discussions with the technical director (Michael Emenalo) at Chelsea. After this season, we'll see how I get on.
"I'm looking to improve myself as a player and get more games under my belt. There are also little things I can work on, but it depends which position I'm going to play. I know I can improve a lot of things, hopefully I can do that here."
Ake spent last season on loan to Watford, where he made the FA Cup semi-final and finished in 13th position. He joined Bouremouth just when they started their pre-season, so will have time to integrate with his new squad before the start of the Premier League.
