Juventus bid for Cuadrado

According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are pushing hard to sign Juan Cuadrado.

Cuadrado was signed as a replacement for Andre Schurrle in the January transfer window of 2015. A horrid 6 months on the Chelsea bench saw him loaned out to Juventus to gain confidence. Juan repaid Juventus by becoming an important member of the squad that won the League and Cup double.

Juventus have made it no secret of their desire to secure Cuadrado on a permanent contract, but incoming Italian coach Antonio Conte wants to take a look at Cuadrado with Chelsea while on pre-season preparations.

Cuadrado would like to move away from Chelsea and remain at Juventus and Sky Sport Italia report that Juventus have offered Chelsea a €24m deal. Juve are in negotiations to extend the loan by another year for €2m. Then, it would include a mandatory option to buy in June 2017 for €22m. Likely they are waiting for Pogba to be sold to fund the purchase of Cuadrado.
