Jeremie Boga loaned to Granada - His first words

Granada have today [Wednesday] confirmed they have secured promising Chelsea youth player Jeremie Boga on a season long loan.

The announcement comes at a perfect time. Granada start pre-season tomorrow, so Jeremie will have all summer to integrate with his new team and environment.

Boga spent last season on loan to Ligue 1 team Rennes in what was his first professional season. He made an impressive 31 appearances while scoring twice.

While Rennes were interested in retaining the service of Boga for another season, there were plenty of other teams in Europe knocking on Chelsea's door for one of their most talented youngster. OGC Nice looked to have secured Boga's service, but its Granada where Boga will spend 2016/17 season.

"I am very excited to start working with Granada and to play in the Spanish league. I hope to help the team as much as possible and to continue growing as a player and enjoy the new project of Granada," said Boga, one of the most promising players in European football.

Boga will be presented tomorrow at the Ciudad Deportiva GCF, after the first preseason training. The deal is only one year loan, but it most likely is included with the option of another. .

Boga joins Paco Jémez, the coach of Granada, who was coaching Rayo Vallecano last season and they were close to signing Boga but the deal broke down. Seems Paco Jémez has his eye on Boga.
