PSV: "Buying Marco van Ginkel is likely to be difficult."
PSV's Technical Director Marcel Brands spoke to Eindhoven Dagblad regarding his clubs pursuit of Dutch midfielder Marco van Ginkel.
"Buying him is likely to be difficult," Brands said. Eindhoven Dagblad.
"But there is the possibility to loan him for a season. Marco's last season proved to be a great addition to the team in the second half of the year."
"I think he should stay in Eindhoven one more season and then he can take another step."
van Ginkel spent last season on loan to Stoke and PSV. The latter being the more successful, where he scored 8 goals in 13 league matches to secure the Dutch title from Ajax's grasp on the last day of the season.
Marco had wanted to confirm his future earlier, but it seems he could be a Chelsea player for a few more weeks before departing on either a loan or being sold.
