John Swift: "I've not heard anything about a contract."
Chelsea academy player John Swift has revealed he has yet to speak to Chelsea regarding his contract, which expires in just 1 month.
"I've not heard anything about a contract. There aren't any negotiations going on. I think I've got to leave everything like that sort itself out," Swift said.
Swift joined Championship side Brentford in October making 28 appearances and scoring 7 times. He described his progress and challenges he has face.
"The physical side of the game in the Championship is massive. You've got to adapt your game every week.
"It's been massive for me. I've been playing out of position as well. For me, trying to get in and stay in the team has been the challenge. I think I've got more minutes than I expected."
