Chelsea threaten Dominic Solanke

According to The Times, Chelsea are threatening Solanke with the prospect of being relegated to the U-21s and U19s unless he lowers his huge £50,000-a-week demands.

Solanke has 1 year left of his current deal and there have been reports Chelsea have wanted to extend the prolific youth strikers contract, but for his crazy wage demands. The Times report that due to this, Chelsea will not sanction another loan for next season when Solanke returns from his current loan at Vitesse. To add to matters, they have threaten him with the prospect of dropping down to the youth squad.
