Todd Kane tears his anterior cruciate ligament
Chelsea right-back Todd Kane has suffered a cruciate ligament injury on loan at NEC and has returned to Chelsea to receive treatment. The injury had ended his loan spell.
The right-back featured 34 times in all competition for NEC, as they look to push for a Europa League place. Kane has had an impressive spell in Holland. His performances had him linked with Ajax earlier in the year.
Kane has been part of Chelsea's setup for 15 years. He's been loaned out to a number of clubs. Preston, Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City and Nottingham Forest before his move to NEC.
