According to africanfootball, Kasimpasa are unable to fund the purchase of Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo on a permanent transfer at the end of this season. Kasimpasa have an option in their contract with Chelsea to sign Omeruo, but will look to resign the Nigerian centre back on loan.

Omeruo has already gone on loan at Dutch club ADO Den Haag as well as Middlesbrough in the English Championship. His third loan saw him arrive at Turkish club Kasimpasa for the 2015/16 season and he has since impressed, featuring in 18 matches and helping Kasimpasa to eighth in the Turkish Super Lig table. Kasimpasa have conceded just 18 goals all season – only leaders Fenerbahce and second place Besiktas have let in as few goals.

“Kasimpasa don’t have the money to buy Omeruo outrightly at the end of the season. They rather want another loan for the player and it may now mean the player will have to return to Chelsea,” a source informed AfricanFootball.com

Interestingly, the report also goes on to claim a Premier League club are linked to the signing of Kenneth.

“Crystal Palace are one of the clubs connected to Omeruo. Hopefully, they will stay up and they could then buy him outright or take him on loan.”
