Perica: "Udinese has the right to buy but we'll see, will see what happens."
After an impressive display against Spain U21, Stipe Perica confirmed to nacional.hr that Udinese has a right to buy him as part of their loan agreement with Chelsea. Croatia U21 leapfrogged Spain U21 of the Uefa U21 Championship thanks to a brace from Chelsea loanee Stipe Perica.
"Spain, we deserved to win. We respect what our coach said ahead of the meeting, and I hope for new goals in the coming matches. Of course, football is unpredictable, but I believe that I will continue to play," said Perica.
"These goals mean a lot to me. It is a special feeling when you stick to the national team, it's different than when you stick to the club. There is no relaxation, go get another win. We are still not at the Euros and we are waiting for the two matches against Sweden."
"Goals for Croatia me personally a lot of help. The Udinese have solved some important matches but in the last month and a half I did not play well. "
Stipe currently has 11 appearances for Udinese this season with an impressive 3 goals, but he has often been on the bench.
"I work, I try, fight and wait for the opportunity. I do not know if I'll stay at Udinese, I have a contract for another three months and then going back to Chelsea. Udinese has the right to buy but we'll see, will see what happens. I kept in touch with the people from Chelsea."
"The change on the bench for Chelsea currently does not mean nothing. Now I concentrated on Udinese. Of course, my dream is to play for Chelsea but the possibilities and realities are something else at the moment. "
"The team is in a complex situation, we are fighting to stay up [Udinese are 16th], but now is not just to give confidence a young player, but both work, we are all going to work out."
