Pasalic: "I'm very happy I had a chance to watch a Chelsea game."

Mario Pasalic has taken his recent set back with injuries as an opportunity to watch Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The 21-year-old has had a successful period out on loans since his purchase from Croatian side Hajduk Split in 2014. However, a persistent back injury has left him crawling back to Cobham for treatment.

"I'm very happy I had the chance to watch the game [Chelsea vs West Ham], my first time here at Stamford Bridge. It has a good game. Four goals. West Ham are a good team with a good coach that I know from Croatia. I hope that Chelsea, in these next games, will finish the season in a good performance," said Pasalic.

"The first period [of the season at Monaco] was more or less OK. It was good. But then in the second period, I started to feel a pain in back and I do one month treatment, but that wasn't helpful. So I decided to come here and visit medical staff of Chelsea to resolve this problem."

Pasalic spent last season with then promoted Elche in La Liga playing a total of 35 games. His switch to Ligue 1 came when Monaco asked for his service in return for Falcao. Mario spoke about the differences of Spanish and French football.

"Yeah, it's different. Spanish League is more technical with the ball and French League its more strong players. It's a difference."
