van Ginkel: "In terms of results, it has been a very disappointing week."

Marco van Ginkel and his PSV side have had a terrible week. Dumped out the Champions League in the last 16s against 2014 finalist Ateltico Madrid on penalties and now have lost their position at the top of the Dutch table to title rivals Ajax.

Ajax travelled to PSV in what was a pulsating match which ended 2-0 to the visitors and Ajax claiming top spot with 6 games to go in the League. Even with PSV's terrible week in League and European competitions, van Ginkel remained upbeat.

"In terms of results, it has been a very disappointing week," the midfielder told VI TV. "Against Ajax, at some point anyway some fatigue get in the team. But I do not think that the main reason for this defeat. The second ball was often for Ajax. That made it very difficult."

Marco doesn't believe its time to right off PSV's title chances just yet. "Yes, I still believe. We are not in our own hands, this is just a good rap they've given us," continues Van Ginkel, who can use the international match break to catch your breath. "It is nice to the battery as charging. At the weekend a few days and then the little faces to the last six games have. If we win, it may be so."
