Juventus Chief executive: “Cuadrado? We could keep him here.”
Juventus Chief executive believes the appointment of Conte, previously at Turin, as the new Chelsea manager will not derail his clubs decision to pursue the services of Cuadrado for next season.
Cuadrado has enjoyed life in Turin. He has been able to regain form and confidence in Italy, whilst still playing at a top club. With 33 appearances in all competition, Cuadrado has left Juventus wanting more out of him beyond this season and Juventus Chief executive believes that is possible regardless of the pending appointed of Conte as Chelsea manager.
"Worried that Conte wants Cuadrado to Chelsea? First of all the fact that Conte go to Chelsea confirms the good choice made by the company years ago: it means that the ability of Juventus is not only to identify the players but also coaches. We are proud and happy for him," Giuseppe Marotta said to tuttosport
"Cuadrado is owned by Chelsea, he has done well and it may be that we'll try to restrain him. the value of Chelsea now at least equals that of Juventus, which is one of the leading companies in Europe and that the players leave hardly."
Conte is rumoured to want Cuadrado at Chelsea, as he favours a 4-2-4 formation. Barcelona have also been reported to have asked for the service of Cuadrado. Whatever happens, this has been a very successful loan. Cuadrado has regained his form that led to Chelsea signing him and, most importantly, his value.
