Papy Djilobodji is on loan at Werder Bremen from Chelsea and he's been enjoying life in the Bundesliga, until now.
On Saturday, Werder Bremen hosted Mainz 05 in what turned out to be a draw. During the match Papy is seen to make a throat-slitting gesture at Mainz player De Blasis went down easily.

German Football Federation's sports tribunal has opened proceedings against Papy Djilobodji.
Ralf Koettker, media director of German football's governing body, said that any actions against Papy "will be decided promptly by the committee [on Monday]." Bremen coach and sporting director both played down the incident. I guess they would, what with Bremen fighting relegation and Papy being their best defender. Djilobodji is now expected to be banned for the gesture. It's a shame, he was enjoying game time and Bremen were collecting points to secure their future in the Bundesliga.
