Solanke marks his return from injury with 2 goals in 20 minutes.

Solanke fall injured late in January during Vitesse's 0-0 draw against Excelsior due to a crunching tackle from behind on his Achilles tendon. He had returned to Cobham to receieve treatment, suffered a set back, then trained with the Chelsea first team and finally is back in training with Vitesse.

Vitesse were heading for a draw against Groningen in the Eredivisie when the introduction of Dominic Solanke helped them to a comfortable 3-0 victory.

Solanke: "It was amazing to be back playing after a long time on the side, it was difficult. So to come back & firstly get the win & second get a couple of goals is an amazing way to come back for me. We knew at some point the game was going to open up," said the striker.

"When we made a few subs, we had fresh legs to exploit that. We know its a tough league, so we are not always going to get what we want. There's not too many more games now, so I think we can just carry on pushing & hopefully get majority wins & finishes high."
