Werder Bremen keen on extending Djilobodji loan
Djilobodji joined the Bundesliga side on a six-month loan deal and has managed to cement his place in Bremen's starting 11, starting & finishing every game since his arrival. Werder Bremen now wish to extend his stay.
Paulo Ferreira, who works as a loan player technical coach behind Eddie Newton, visited Djilobodji, with Bremen CEO telling Bild that Paulo "saw that [Djilobodji] gets along here really well and feels great too."
"He saw that the player gets along very well here and feel comfortable. Our interest is deposited with Chelsea. But first of course we must do our homework."
Djilobodji also confirmed talks between Bremen and Chelsea: "The talks were very positive."
