Stipe Perica signed for Chelsea in August 2013, moving from NK Zadar in his native Croatia. He spent the 2013/14 season on loan at NAC Breda in the Netherlands, scoring six goals in six starts and 20 sub appearances. The loan was extended for the first half of the 2014/15 season and after a further three goals in 10 appearances, Perica moved on loan to Serie A in January 2015, joining Udinese.

He hasn't seen as much game time on loan at Udinese. Only 11 games, but has 3 goals. Perica is still determined to prove his worth on the field.

"I do not surrender, I know it's all up to me, I do, I try, I fight the best I can. I'm not in the foreground, but I will continue to work and wait for another chance. I know will come, and so I have to wait ready," says Perica for 24 hours and adds:

"In the Netherlands it would have been a lot easier to play, Serie A is a much more serious level. I feel like I've progressed, and I confirmed with three goals in four games, I played in the second half of the season. It will be another good match..."
