Rumours: Cuadrado a target for Barcelona
According to donbalon, Barcelona have been in contact with Chelsea regarding the availability of Juan Cuadrado after this season. Cuadrado had a difficult start to his Chelsea career. Signed as a direct replacement for the departed Andre Schurrle, Cuadrado only lasted 6 months at the Bridge before going out on loan to Italian Champions Juventus.
He has since enjoyed life back in Italy with 30 appearances to his name and counting. Having helped Juventus get back to the top of Serie A, he has also contributed to Juventus getting into the final of the Coppa Italia and the last 16 of the Champions League. His efforts have been rewarded by Juventus as they named him 'MVP of the Month' (Most valuable player).
Donbalon report that the final decision about Cuadrado's future will be down to the new Chelsea coach Antonio Conte. The Mail also report that Chelsea remain keen on signing Pogba from Juventus and looked at a deal involving Cuadrado joining the Turin side on a permanent deal to sweeten the offer. Juventus have shown interest in keeping Cuadrado, but will not pay over the odds to secure the Colombian international.
