Nigeria coach Samson Siasia counting on Moses
Newly appointed Nigeria coach Samson Siasia called-up Victor Moses for the Eagles squad ahead of Egypt’s clash on March 25 for the 2017 African Cup of Nations Group G qualifiers. Egypt will head to Nigeria for first leg of the qualifier, while the second leg will be held on March 29.
Victor Moses, who is on a season-long loan at West Ham, has suffered injuries and it has been the main reason behind his absence from the national team. He has not played for his country for more than a year.
Nigeria manager told Nigeria Soccer Net that he is counting on the experience of West Ham United winger Victor Moses.
"Egypt will be coming with their best players and I strongly feel Mikel and Moses’ wealth of experience will come in handy if we are to pick three points against Egypt in Kaduna. Victor Moses has pledged to return too and this is quite encouraging at a time we need our top players against Egypt."
