Encouraging loan move for Christian Atsu, as he sees minutes for Malaga
Christian Atsu had a hard time in England. Two loan spells with Everton and Bournemouth in a season and a half saw him pick up only 5 games in the Premier League. This new loan move to La Liga team Malaga had some worried about his game time, but Malaga have so far trusted Atsu.
He reclaimed his starting spot in the Malaga squad after a cameo role last weekand, which saw him return from injury. An injury he picked up on his debut. He also scored. This time he played the entire game on Saturday against Deportivo, as Malaga drew 3-3 away from home. #
His return to full fitness will come as good news for Ghana. They face Mozambique later this month in their Africa Cup of Nations qualification double. Atsu is expected to make the squad.
