Moses - I’m fully fit now
Victor Moses is enjoying his loan spell at West Ham. The Nigerian impressed for Chelsea on their pre-season tour of the states, but was farmed out on loaned shortly after signing a new contract with The Blues. He spoke to West Ham after their demolition of Blackburn Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup Read.
“We should have scored ten goals maybe,” he smiled. “Fortunately we ended up with five and we have to be pleased with that. “Every one of the goals were good and I think we deserved it. The fans were amazing too – they supported us all the way to the end and we’re pleased [for them]. “It felt like we were playing at home to be honest. We really appreciated the support. We hope they enjoyed it the same way we did and we just want to keep on improving every week.”
He continued: “I’m pleased personally. You can see I’m fully fit now, because when I first came back from injury I started a little slow. Now I’ve started to get myself back again and I just want to enjoy every single bit of this season with West Ham. I want to keep on working hard for the team and make sure we win as many games as we can. “The goal was similar to the Man City one. I got into a little pocket, got the ball and turned, drove at the defenders and it was a little unfortunate for the keeper but they all count. “I was pleased with that and hopefully there are more goals to come.”
